I keep coming back to these thoughts
these - that should be obvious,
that should be what makes us humans

our grandparents and parents didn't tear down walls
just to have us build new ones,
our world is divided up by marks that only exists in our heads
there's no line in the sand
no physical barrier

we need to keep our hearts open
this world, our world,
we all deserve the most of what it can offer
we're all born with a beating heart
and curious minds

do not let them take that away from you
fight back
with an open heart and a bright mind
